Frequently Asked Questions

Can I bring furniture?

A bed, nightstand, end table, lamp and chair are provided for you, however additional pieces can be added as room permits.  If you would like to use your own items listed, we can try to accommodate once again based on room size.

Can I handle my own medications?

Only items like nitroglycerin or inhalers (subject to permission) are permitted to be self-administered, otherwise all medications, including herbal supplements, vitamins and OTC are to be administered by our nursing Staff.

Is there a curfew?

No, you are encouraged to live your fullest life, we do ask if you are going to be out that you notify Staff, and sign the in-and-out log.

What if I require a special diet?

Our dietary Staff will work with you to build a meal plan that works based on your needs and our ability to deliver.

Do you provide transportation?

No, but we will assist you in arranging transportation and escorts as required.

Can I have visitors?

Of course.  Visiting hours are between 9:00 am and 11:00 pm.  Visitors in your room must be approved by your room mate and must be respectful of them in their space.  All Visitors must be with the Resident they are here to visit and not left unattended.

Can I have appliances in my room?

Microwaves and coffee makers with automatic shut offs are permitted but no other cooking appliances can be used.  Mini-fridges are permitted.

Is there cable, phone and/or internet provided?

We have public access wifi in the common areas, several TVs with cable located throughout the home and a phone available for Resident use.  Direct service to individual rooms are at the cost of the Resident.

We are often asked "do you accept donations?"

We are always in need of donations of socks, underwear, shoes, coats and art supplies.

We also accept cash donations towards our Resident's Fund to assist our Residents with affording costs that aren't covered by any other means
