Victoria Manor Supportive Housing would like to acknowledge that the land on which we reside is the traditional territory of the Anishnaabeg people of the Three Fires Confederacy (Ojibwe, Potawatomi, and Odawa). Due to Windsor’s unique location along the Detroit River many different groups have called this area home including: Haudenosaunee, Attawandaron (Neutral) and Huron (Wyandot) peoples. Today, many indigenous people and Métis across Turtle Island call this area home.

We understand that this land does not belong to us, that it was not given freely but taken; so it is with great respect and gratitude to you all that we are able to call this land our home.
